Tollymore Investment Partners is a private investment partnership investing in a small number of exceptional publicly listed businesses to compound partners’ capital over the long term. Tollymore’s long-term, value-oriented investment philosophy is not exotic nor unique. However, our ability to execute this long term investment approach is differentiated. A sensible long-term, business owner investment philosophy is of no use if the investing ecosystem is a barrier to faithfully executing a thoughtful investment process. Execution is everything.
A great investing ecosystem must cultivate a bi-literate brain; one capable of navigating data and filtering noise; and one capable of deep work in a digital era. To us the obvious source of investment edge is behavioural, the ingredients of which are a long time horizon, an environment conducive to independent thought, and an investment philosophy and investor cohort matched to an investment manager’s temperament. As such Tollymore seeks to form long-term partnerships with investors who think like business owners rather than traders.

As long-term investors we can exploit the time arbitrage afforded to patient investors with patient capital.
